Job Description

School Psychologist – Full-Time | PreK–8th Grade

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based position. This is an itinerant role serving multiple school locations and supporting students from PreK through 8th grade.

Position Details:

Full-Time: 35 hours per week
Caseload: PreK–8th grade
Setting: School-based
Position Type: Itinerant
Locations: Multiple school locations
Experience: Previous school-based experience required

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological and educational evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement appropriate intervention plans
Provide counseling and behavioral support to students as needed
Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members
Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
Maintain accurate documentation and student records
Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
Travel between multiple school locations as needed

Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut School Psychologist License
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Previous school-based experience required
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively across multiple school settings
