Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Chico, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Neuro ICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Intensive Care Unit Neurological (ICU NEURO) Nights at a healthcare facility in California. This Level II trauma critical care position involves caring for neuro/trauma patients in a 12-bed unit with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. The role requires flexibility to float to other units such as Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Medical-Surgical units as needed. Job Details Position involves caring for neuro/trauma patients with the ability to manage patients with intracranial pressure monitors, continuous renal replacement therapy, and lumbar drains. Must have at least 5 years of acute critical care experience. Must possess EPIC charting experience. Must have Level II trauma critical care experience. Certification requirements include current California Registered Nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support). Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional information: Must have previous traveler experience. Must be a W-2 employee of the agency, as per facility policy. The position requires float flexibility to other units such as Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Medical-Surgical units.
