Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Location

Dulles, Virginia

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients through vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and inductions
• Perform OB triage assessments and manage patients across varying stages of labor
• Operate and interpret fetal monitoring systems, including continuous electronic fetal monitoring
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including OB Hospitalists, Neonatology providers, Lactation Consultants, and OB scrub techs
• Float to Postpartum unit to provide coverage as needed
• Participate in one to two on-call shifts per month as preferred by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS (ALS) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Fetal monitoring certification; C-EFM required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Demonstrated flexibility in a fast-paced, growing Labor & Delivery environment
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments
• Experience with Meditech and/or CPN electronic medical record systems
