The Morongo Basin Healthcare District owns and operates the Morongo Basin Community Health Center, a federally qualified health center providing comprehensive patient-centered primary care services including medical, dental, behavioral health and outreach services to low income, multi-ethnic, uninsured and underinsured populations. Additionally, we offer health education to the community and partner with other organizations to bring resources to our community.
In your role as Clinical Informaticist you will report to the Electronic Health Records Manager. Your responsibilities will include focus on implementing, maintaining, and supporting electronic health record platforms (e.g., eCW, Medex, Cairs 2, Freed, Up to Date). Clinical Informaticist will provide metrics, which define and measure operational productivity and quality while ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and workflow efficiency.
As Clinical Informaticist, you will provide EMR technical support to ensure patient care is documented as required and provide guidance to clinical staff for appropriate use of EMR. You will focus on systems and process improvements related to use of the EMR.
Education and Experience required
Current CA RN license
3 years of experience in management and operations of an outpatient clinic, RHC, CHC or similar environment
2 years' experience in Electronic Health Systems
Previous experience with regulatory agency compliance
Bilingual preferred
Position may be fully remote but must come in office quarterly
