Role Strategic Account Manager RNC | Carrier Enterprise | Nebraska & Iowa Markets Overview The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing long-term relationships with key residential and construction accounts. This role focuses on driving revenue through strategic planning, consultative selling, and cross-functional collaboration. The Strategic Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for high-value customers and plays a critical role in expanding market share across residential new construction, multi-family, and large contractor segments. Duties And Responsibilities Strategically manage a high-value portfolio of builder, developer, and contractor accounts to maximize market penetration and revenue growth Develop and implement data-driven account strategies that enhance customer retention while expanding share of wallet across our product lines Prospect and cultivate new business opportunities within existing accounts while identifying and converting strategic targeted accounts Execute comprehensive sales cycle from lead generation through final sales, including consultative presentations and negotiations Drive adoption of comprehensive HVAC solutions including equipment, controls, service agreements, and system upgrades to increase revenue streams Collaborate cross-functionally with estimating and inside sales teams to develop compelling, competitive proposals that win business Coordinate with operations, order management, and service teams to ensure exceptional sales execution and client satisfaction Support business intelligence initiatives including accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning processes Monitor industry developments, construction trends, and competitive activities to maintain market advantage and identify emerging opportunities Qualifications 5+ years of sales or account management experience in HVAC, construction, or building services Proven record managing large or complex accounts Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship building skills Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents Proficiency in CRM system (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office or similar platforms Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region Requirements Minimum 4 year bachelor degree 5+ years of sales experience in HVAC, construction, or building materials Benefits Health Insurance Health Savings Account Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Disability Insurance (Short-term and Long-term) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition Reimbursement & Professional Development Paid Vacation & Sick time Company Paid Holidays 401(k) Plan with Employer Match Employee Discount Program Invitation To Apply Full-time and part-time positions are available.
