Substitute Nurse Position

Substitute Nurse needed for grades Pre-K to 8th grade on a daily, as-needed basis. Will County School District 92 has four schools: Walsh School for grades Pre-K-1, Reed School for grades 2-3, Ludwig School for grades 4-5, and Oak Prairie School for grades 6-8. Substitute Nurse applicants are required to have a recent physical and a recent background check.

Please call the Will County School District 92 Administration office located at 708 N. State Street in Lockport, at View phone number on click.appcast.io. We will schedule a time for you to come into pick up a physical form. You may also purchase a background check form for $28.25 (check made out to Will County School District 92). You will then make an appointment with the Regional Office of Education for fingerprinting. Once we have the results of your background check, we will contact you. We will also provide you with a copy of the background check. If you choose to get the background check done on your own, you must bring the results from the Illinois State Police AND the FBI to the District Office. These results must be less than one year old. Please bring 2 forms of identification. One must be a social security card and the other must be a driver's license, passport or other state-issued ID, and a voided check for direct deposit.
