Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); required minimum of 4 years of postpartum experience.
• Education Requirements: None specified; licensure required for submission.
• Location Requirements: California.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years working postpartum, travel experience preferred.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional responsibilities include floating to neonatal intensive care and pediatric units as needed.
• Patient population: high-risk postpartum women with conditions such as blood pressure issues, multiple pregnancies, diabetes, substance abuse, and other high acuity cases.
• Charting System: Cerner.
• Additional notes: Unit has a charge nurse, nurse aides/OB techs depending on census, and specific unit policies regarding orientation and unit operation.
