Driver Manager

Job TitleDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitor, track, and assign drivers to dedicated routes while ensuring compliance with Hours-of-Service regulations.Maintain utilization of tractors and trailers to meet or exceed budget and operational expectations.Provide drivers with dispatch instructions, delivery information, and operational support to ensure successful and on-time service through the TMS and other transportation operating systems.Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers and assist with resolving operational issues.Interface with Account Manager regarding service failures, delivery concerns, OS&D, and other transportation-related issues.Maintain daily operational revenue goals and report performance metrics on a weekly basis.Monitor on-time performance, service levels, driver productivity, equipment utilization, and other key performance indicators.Process and verify driver payroll accurately on a weekly basis.Perform annual performance reviews for direct reports and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development.Create and maintain a spot freight network to generate backhaul opportunities and improve fleet utilization.Benefits:MedicalDentalVision401kPaid vacationPaid holidaysProfit sharingEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
