Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.Enforce company safety policies and regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards.Direct and supervise daily construction activities on assigned projects.Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and vendors.Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance.Monitor quality control and workmanship throughout all phases of construction.Develop, maintain, and update construction schedules.Conduct daily site inspections and coordinate corrective actions as needed.Lead project meetings, toolbox talks, and progress updates.Manage subcontractor's performance and compliance with contractual obligations.Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and equipment utilization.Track project progress and communicate schedule impacts, risks, and issues to management.Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documents.Interface with owners, clients, engineers, inspectors, and government representatives.Promote a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity.Train, mentor, and oversee field personnel.Required (Minimum Necessary) QualificationsEducation Requirements: Level of Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional construction management education preferredMinimum 10–12 years of construction industry experience.Minimum 5–6 years of superintendent or field supervision experience.Experience leading commercial, civil, industrial, or federal construction projects.Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, safety requirements, and quality control.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other CharacteristicsExcellent leadership and communication skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience coordinating subcontractors and project stakeholders.Knowledge of construction scheduling and project documentation.Ability to identify and mitigate construction risks.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead teams effectivelyPhysical RequirementsAbility to work on active construction sites in various weather conditions.Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.Ability to climb ladders, access elevated work areas, and navigate uneven terrain.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to travel as required by project needs.Construction job sites, industrial facilities, and outdoor environments.Exposure to weather conditions, noise, dust, and heavy equipment operations.May require extended hours, weekend work, and travel to project locationsPreferredConstruction Industry specific knowledgeCivilRemediationAbatementDemolitionInstallation of underground utilitiesCustomer Service relationshipSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position will not have supervisory responsibilities.DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role RequirementsThis position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.Necessary Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Candidates must be able to perform the following: Work for extended periods will standing, traverse uneven ground surfaces (normally attributed to a construction jobsite) without restrictions, lift/load/secure construction materials, have sufficient hearing and vision to work safely in/around construction equipment and tools, and be able to work outdoors in inclement conditions (heat, cold, snow, rain).
