Emergency Room Nurse
Provides patient care in an emergency setting, reflecting initiative, flexibility, and responsibility with minimum supervision. Triages safely, rapidly, and accurately. Communicates with physicians about patient status. Operates with knowledge of Electronic Medical Records.
Experience: Minimum 2 years recent ER experience preferred License: Current California RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required Must-Have: Must pass nursing medication test. Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written. Must have good interpersonal skills and interface professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with patients, staff, and the general public. Basic computer skills required. Must be willing to float to Med Surg if needed. Must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as the need arises.
