This role leads the strategic product vision for children and teens across Apples app marketplace platforms, including the App Store, driving Apples continued investment in the tools, policies, and experiences that serve families well.DescriptionAs the Senior Product Manager for App Marketplaces Child Safety, you will help define and drive Apples product strategy for children and teens across its app ecosystem, with a focus on the App Stores role as the worlds most trusted platform for app discovery. You will translate a deep understanding of child development, digital wellbeing, and family needs into concrete product experiences — shaping how millions of kids discover apps, how families browse and manage purchases across Apples global marketplace, and how emerging technologies are thoughtfully developed for younger audiences.You will work across a broad set of internal partners — including Product Marketing, Health, Engineering, Legal, and App Review — to align child safety considerations with Apples platform policies and product decisions. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of product, policy, and platform trust.Minimum Qualifications10+ years of product management experience delivering complex, large-scale products with meaningful user impactDemonstrated experience working on family products, digital wellbeing, or age-appropriate design for young children and adolescents, grounded in an understanding of childhood developmental stages and their implications for product decisionsProven ability to lead highly cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from strategy through launch, in a fast-moving environmentStrong policy intuition; comfortable working at the intersection of product, legal, and regulatory considerationsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills; skilled at building consensus and fostering trust across teams with competing prioritiesStrong analytical capabilities to identify opportunities, define success metrics, and measure impactBA/BS or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plusPreferred QualificationsExperience developing products or policies at a two-sided marketplace, app platform, or digital content ecosystemFamiliarity with applicable regulations and industry standards related to minors online experiencesAbility to fluidly operate across highly technical product details and high-level strategic narratives, and translate between both for diverse audiencesExperience working with legal, trust & safety, or policy teams on platform integrity or content-related productsStrong storytelling and executive presentation skills, including the ability to frame complex issues clearly for senior leadershipFluency with Keynote; experience presenting to executive audiencesPress and media experience with success as a product spokesperson on a national or global levelGenuine passion for building trusted digital experiences for children and familiesPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,400 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
