Dining Services Inventory DuBois W

Responsible for receiving storage and inventory for all departmental supplies and food stuffs, ordering food and supplies based upon product specification as established by company ordering protocols and procedures, food/beverage distribution, along with maintaining sanitation in storage areas.
Receive & verify deliveries, reconcile discrepancies, inspect product quality and expiration dates, stock pantry areas while maintaining proper inventory levels using first-in, first-out rotation.
Restock pantry items (beverages, snacks, coffee supplies, condiments) and ensure proper handling and storage of perishable goods, including maintaining required refrigeration standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license and good driving record may be required in some cases where transporting supplies on behalf of the company is needed.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull inventory, often up to 50 pounds, and work in varied environments (e.g., walk-in freezers).
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management, or hospitality/food service preferred.
- Proficiency and/or experience with inventory management or purchasing software.
