Responsibilities include:Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfersProvide companionship and support during daily activitiesAccompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, pharmacies, and other necessary outingsAssist with active and passive mobility exercises according to the client's plan of careObserve and document changes in the client's condition and communicate them to the Director of NursingProvide care in accordance with the client's individualized plan of careMaintain client privacy and confidentialityWhat We're Looking For:Valid Florida HHA license in good standingHigh school diploma or GEDValid CPR certificationPhysical and negative TB skin test within the past 12 monthsValid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicleAbility to pass a drug screening and motor vehicle background checkAbility to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirementsBilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to applyAbility to safely stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pullAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and assist clients with varying mobility needsMake a Difference Every Day At BrightStar Care, you're more than an employee — you're an important part of the care team.
