Application Enablement - Senior Staff Architect - Mergers & Acquisitions

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Senior Staff Architect leading application integration for mergers and acquisitions at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Responsible for integrating acquired company applications into ServiceNow CMDB, managing identity and access frameworks, and bridging architectural strategy with execution across global IT and business functions.

Responsibilities

Lead application discovery, gap analysis, and technical integration planning during M&A due diligence and integration phases
Design and execute scalable, secure application architectures aligned with enterprise standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and portfolio governance
Partner with PMO and IMO to deliver integration milestones on schedule and in compliance
Drive post-close optimization through standardization, modernization, and automation initiatives

Requirements

Extensive experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) frameworks
Deep expertise in identity and access management, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra
Proven track record leading complex M&A integration programs and technical due diligence
Strong architectural design and enterprise systems integration experience
Advanced knowledge of collaboration, endpoint, and telecom environment integration
Experience mentoring engineers and architects in enterprise technology environments
