Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem (based on facility needs)

Licenses/Certifications: Active RN license in Louisiana, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of cardiac nursing experience

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process within the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Monitor and assess cardiac patients before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with and support invasive cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families about procedures, post-care, and lifestyle modifications
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulations throughout your shift

What You Need

• Required:
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • 2+ years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in cardiac or cath lab settings
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Preferred:
  • Certification in a cardiology or electrophysiology specialty area
  • Strong organizational and clinical judgment skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
