Job Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; Med/Surg Tele experience strongly preferred
• All required credentials must be active and in hand at the time of submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document patient care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient outcomes
• Prioritize patient safety, clinical awareness, and timely communication throughout each shift
• Maintain a professional, dependable presence on 12-hour night shifts
