As a subsidiary company of Impact Fire Services, Professional Fire has provided fire and life safety inspection, repair, and installation services covering Massachusetts and New England areas for over 19 years./ppPosition is based out of our Southborough, Massachusetts district office./ph2Job Summary/h2pThis position has the responsibility of driving our company light-duty trucks and transporting material from Professional Fire Systems warehouse and/or supplier warehouses to multiple job sites throughout New England. The driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading materials, as well as general shop cleanliness and organization./ph2Job Responsibilities/h2ulliDemonstrate safe/efficient-driving skills/liliComplying with Federal, State, and Local laws guidelines/liliGood customer service and ability to communicate verbally with customers in a professional manner./liliAbility to adhere to and enforce all safety procedures/liliCommunicate with management any problem or safety preoccupation taken/liliMust be prepared and flexible to perform associated and related job functions that are not specifically identified in this job description./liliSalary is based on experience/li/ulh2Job Requirements/h2ulliMust be able to arrive at work by 5 am for pickups./liliHigh School Diploma Preferred and 1+ years of relevant experience preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience./liliAbility to read, analyze, and interpret maps and GPS technology./liliComplete paperwork accurately and completely and understand the importance of detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, supervisors and employees. Must be able to read, speak, write and understand Basic English./liliMust be at least 21 years old with a valid DOT license and a good driving record,/liliAbility to be able to be insured by our company vehicle insurance and take a DOT physical/liliMust be able to work in any traffic or weather conditions according to the pickup locations./liliMust be able to follow directions and possess a can do attitude./liliAbility to create and maintain cooperative team-building relationships./liliWork as a team with Field Management Team Purchasing Management Team to meet organization goals and expectations./liliMust be able to work in coordination with his or her supervisor and colleagues/liliReliability and dependability/liliFlexibility in a fast-paced environment/liliAbility to lift between 50 - 100 lbs./li/ulh2Preferred Experience/h2ulli1 year of driving experience/lili1 year truck driving experience/li/ulpSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
