Radiologic Technologist

to join our imaging team. This full-time role supports high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and compassionate care in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards. Essential Functions

Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions. Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation of patients for exams. Performs exams according to department protocols and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy. Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment. Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or image quality. Assists with and instructs students and other Radiology Technologists on exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment use. Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses patient concerns. Practices appropriate infection control and sterile techniques. Operates imaging equipment and related information systems to produce quality diagnostic images. Maintains accurate documentation of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions. Follows protocols related to medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, quality control programs, and reporting of equipment issues or failures. Skills

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification Active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in a clinic or InstaCare setting Preferred Qualifications

1–2 years of radiology experience IV certification

Physical Requirements Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items. Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.) May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
