Internal Medicine - Cardiology

The Inpatient Cardiology service is a consulting service, with the hospitalist handling most admits. An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is scheduled at the hospital to assist the physician Monday through Monday, supporting day-to-day tasks and documentation. The MD will work on-site during regular clinic hours for a 10-hour clinical shift and be available for emergencies. Afterward, the MD will carry the pager for night calls and respond to any in-person callbacks as needed.
