Journeyman electrician

Nutek Electric is hiring! We are an established electrical contractor based in West Jordan, serving the greater Salt Lake County and surrounding areas. We are currently in need of experienced and skilled Journeyman electrician to join our team. Responsibilities Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears. Supervise crews Complete digital work orders & record material utilized on jobs. Along with authorizing time sheets. Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects. Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans Time Management to meet scheduled completion dates Troubleshooting electrical systems Qualifications Must be a licensed Journeyman Must have advanced knowledge of the electrical trade Must be teachable, and able to accept constructive criticism Great Attention to detail, organization, and self-sufficiency Have a positive attitude and work well with others Knowledgeable on current electrical code Skilled in trouble shooting Effectively communicate with customer base and have great people skills Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance Read and Understand blueprints Able to understand and perform job duties as directed Must have a valid/current driver’s license, and reasonable driving record Must have reliable transportation to and from work Self-starter and able to stay on task Willing to travel in the greater Salt Lake Valley, and surrounding areas Additional Information Nutek Electric provides quality electrical work across the greater Salt Lake Valley, this includes service work, new construction, residential, commercial, and industrial work; our new hire must be willing to work in all fields. #J-18808-Ljbffr Nutek Electric
