Kids2Dentist specializes in providing comprehensive dental care tailored to young patients. Our multi-specialty offices offer services in Pedodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care in all aspects of their dental health. Led by CEO Jerry Lanier, who has a proven track record of building successful dental practices, we are committed to fostering healthy smiles and creating positive dental experiences for children and their families. Our dedicated team of dental professionals works collaboratively to ensure every child receives the best possible care in a friendly and welcoming environment. Full-time, Exempt, 40 hours per week

DENTIST OWNED. Kids2Dentist is owned and operated by our original founding dentist, Dr. Jerry L. Lanier. Dr. Lanier has been a multi-office owner for over 35 years, making decisions based on what is best for our patients from a dentist’s perspective.

LOAN REPAYMENT PROGRAM. Kids2Dentist is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site where primary care dentists who are eligible for loan repayment funding can fulfill their service obligation. To further support our team, we match the NHSC’s $25,000 per year commitment with an additional $50,000 for your second year of service, making it easier for you to focus on providing excellent care while reducing your student loan burden..

We see and treat any/all dental problems with excellent results while offering our dentists the mentorship and training to be the best doctors they can be.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality dental care to children.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health practices.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of dental professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage patient care efficiently.
• Provide high-quality dental services to Kids2Dentist patients.
• Read and accurately interpret dental radiographs to ensure member, and parent/guardian, comprehension and share findings with member.
• Provide complete dental examinations and treatment planning.
• Accurately diagnose and help ensure thorough treatment of dental illnesses, diseases, and disorders.
• Prepare patients for dental health services and instruct them in appropriate post-dental treatment, diet, medication, and oral hygiene.
• Answer patient questions and perform procedures considering patient comfort levels.
• Actively participate in weekly meetings with the clinical director.

Qualifications:

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Licensed to practice in California, or willing to obtain
• A current DEA Controlled Substance registration.
• A current CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
