Job Title: Insurance Sales Professional

Job Summary

The Insurance Sales Professional builds trusted relationships with clients by identifying their coverage needs and delivering tailored insurance solutions. This role focuses on business development, client retention, and long-term financial protection while contributing to the agency’s growth and reputation for exceptional service.

Pay (Hourly or Annual Salary)

$50k+ Based on experience

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultative, needs-based conversations.

• Identify insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage using multiple insurance markets and products.

• Generate new business through networking, referrals, outreach, and community engagement.

• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure a smooth, professional client experience.

• Maintain accurate and organized client records within the agency management system.

• Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.

• Proven ability to build trust and long-term professional relationships.

• Networking and prospecting skills to grow a personal book of business.

• High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Education and/or Experience

• Previous sales, customer service, or insurance experience preferred.

• Demonstrated track record of professional achievement and growth.

• Insurance licensing or ability to obtain required licenses (training provided if needed).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.

• Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and digitally.

• Occasional local travel for networking or client meetings may be required.
