Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, demonstrate teamwork, and adhere to facility policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency care to diverse patient populations, including infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac emergencies, including dysrhythmia management and IV therapy.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic charting system.
• Collaborate effectively within the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and efficient patient care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including isolation precautions and triage procedures.
• Support patient stability through medication administration, IV placement, and central line care.

Qualifications:

• Current Michigan RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in emergency services.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC.
• Demonstrate competency in emergency procedures and neurological assessments.
• Ability to interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and manage related emergencies.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills consistent with behavioral expectations.
