Our team produces high-performance optical components and coatings that enable precision targeting and durability in the harshest environments.About the RoleWe are seeking an Optician I (HSPP) for 3rd Shift to support our programs. These operators will play a key role in expanding capacity on both existing and new equipment, ensuring production goals are met with precision and efficiency.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience in optical fabrication or related manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsBasic computer skills for data entry and process documentationPreferred QualificationsExperience with High-Speed Polishing Processes (HSPP)Familiarity with precision optical components and coatingsPrevious experience in a defense or aerospace manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principlesResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain high-speed polishing equipment for optical componentsEnsure compliance with production schedules and quality standardsPerform inspections and measurements to verify component accuracyCollaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and optimize processesMaintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials usedFor California, the hourly rate for this position is: $16.07-$27.48 (plus shift premium) Please note this range is provided as a general guideline.
