No weekends, No holidays. Our kitchen is more than just a space for meals; it's a hub for collaboration, mentorship, and personal growth.## ## Job Description**Benefits/Perks:*** No Weekends* Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 2:30pm* Snacks and meals provided during shifts* Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance* 13 paid holidays* 401K with match* Vacation and Sick days**Responsibilities*** Beverages: Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, tea, and specialty beverages* Orders: Taking orders and customizing them as requested* Customer service: Providing feedback to management and connecting with customers* Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas* Inventory: Maintaining inventory and managing storage and supplies* Health and safety: Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines**Requirements*** HS Diploma or GED equivalent required* 1 or more years experience creating common coffee beverages as well as highly specialized drink orders* Excellent listening and communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers and customers* Basic coffee knowledge, such as how to prepare common coffee beverages, although advanced knowledge, such as roasting and grinding processes, coffee bean sourcing and flavor differences, can be helpful* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to interact in a positive manner and prevent or resolve conflicts* Strong teamwork abilities to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with other Baristas* Attention to detail to manage specific customer requests as well as a high-volume beverage assembly line with minimal errors* Time management and organizational skills to work efficiently and effectively in a high-volume workplace**Work Environment**The work environment includes the following large kitchen environment elements and exposures.* Fast paced kitchen.* High sense of urgency.* Moderate to high noise level.* Exposure to soap and cleaning solutions.* Slippery/uneven surfaces may be encountered.* Frequently moving from cold freezer to normal kitchen environment.* Occasional smoke, steam, and heat in a confined space.* Hot/cold environments when moving thins in and out of the fridge and freezer.**Requirements*** Must have and maintain an active Handlers’ Card (ServSafe) and adhere to local food handler requirement.* Maintain an exceptional personal record of punctuality and attendance.* Consistently perform all duties in a responsible and efficient manner.**Physical Demands**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.* Constant use of hands while moving and using food carts, cooking equipment, etc.* Constant use of hands while prepping and cooking food.* Constant repetitive hand motion while grasping food, cooking and utilizing equipment.* Occasional repetitive hand motion when pushing/pulling food racks, carts, etc.* Constant Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 lbs. Occasional lifting and carrying items frequently weighing between 21lbs - 40 lbs.
