Target Compensation: $250K+ + Bonus and full suite of benefits

Overview

We are partnering with an organization seeking a hands‑on, delivery-focused CTO to step into a newly created executive leadership role. Reporting directly to the CIO, this individual will act as a true right‑hand leader and succession‑minded hire, owning end‑to‑end software delivery across the enterprise.

This is not a traditional infrastructure‑heavy CTO role. Instead, the focus is driving project execution, accelerating product delivery, and ensuring on‑time, high‑quality releases in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.

What You’ll Own

• Accountability for on‑time delivery of strategic projects and new product initiatives
• Leadership of application development, architecture, DevOps, and QA teams
• Oversight of onshore and offshore engineering teams, including third‑party vendors
• Partnering directly with executive leadership (CIO, CEO, CFO) on delivery commitments and roadmap execution
• Building, mentoring, and scaling high‑performing engineering leadership teams
• Establishing consistency, efficiency, and best practices across delivery organizations

Technology Environment

• Microsoft technology stack (.NET / C# environment)
• Modern application architecture and cloud‑based development
• Experience in similar Microsoft‑centric engineering environments strongly preferred

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
• Proven success owning and delivering large‑scale enterprise software projects end‑to‑end
• Strong background in software engineering and architecture
• Experience managing multi‑layered teams (VPs, directors, and offshore teams)
• Demonstrated ability to own delivery, drive accountability, and meet aggressive timelines
• Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly with business stakeholders
• A leader who is:
