Role Overview

We are seeking a Prior Authorization Analyst for a contract-to-permanent role. This position is partially remote, requiring candidates to be located in specific convertible states. The role focuses on managing prior authorizations within a healthcare setting, specifically related to various medical examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process prior authorization requests for outpatient radiology, sleep, and cardiology exams.
• Utilize electronic health record systems to manage patient data and authorization workflows.
• Ensure all authorization activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to facilitate the authorization process.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and internal procedures.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Must have experience with prior authorizations, specifically in radiology (outpatient radiology, sleep, and cardiology exams). General experience in the healthcare industry is also required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with Epic systems is a mandatory requirement.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is $23.00 per hour. Further details on benefits will be provided to eligible candidates.
