Construction Project Manager

Must have commercial construction project management experience Responsibilities Evaluate estimates and scrutinize complete proposal packages. Engage in proactive pre-job planning, encompassing scheduling, bidding, buyout, contract management, team communication, and team building. Handle RFIs, change orders, monthly cost analysis, and reporting promptly. Resolve any project issues identified in monthly meetings within a 30-day timeframe. Manage client expectations, queries, and the flow of project information. Ensure timely final subcontractor reconciliation and billing, punch list completion, and oversee all final closeouts. Mentor and support Project Managers and Engineers in executing project management tasks. Actively contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in Project Management by leading through example and mentorship. Optimize gross margins by meticulous scoping/estimating, preparation/presentation of proposals, and proactive project management of subcontractors and self-performed work. Actively participate in proposal preparation, interviews, and the acquisition of new business. Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or Business is desirable. A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction-related roles, with at least 5 years of commercial construction project management experience, is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, management, interpersonal skills, and negotiation abilities.
