Are you looking to enter the exciting world of Dermatology or continue working in one of the most desired medical specialties? Our Dermatology clinics located in Shelby Township and Rochester Hills Michigan is looking for a Full Time Medical Assistant to join our practice. Schedule would be in Shelby on Mon, Wed, and Fri and in our Rochester Hills location on Tues and Thurs with a rotating Saturday.   Not only will you get exposure to both medical and cosmetic procedures, but you will be joining an amazingly wonderful team.   Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians or licensed healthcare practitioners in ensuring a smooth patient care experience and outstanding service to patients seeking skin, hair, nail and cosmetic medical services, including, but not limited to.

• Preparing the rooms
• Pulling and maintaining charts
• Verifying documents
• Ensuring timely service
• Greeting patients
• Obtaining and documenting patient information
• Accompanying and/or assisting the providers with procedures
• Communicating with patients, providers and other staff members
• Updating the electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Performing cleaning, sterilizing, organizing and inventory tasks

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certificate of Completion of Medical Assistance Program, BCLS Certification, and/or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certifications preferred but not required.
