Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Shrewsbury Rehabilitation and Nursing at Southgate. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Assist with feeding, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring

• Perform vital signs and record resident data accurately

• Assist with ADLs, including mobility, transfer, and positioning

• Maintain resident confidentiality and respect resident's rights

• Report changes in resident condition to Charge Nurse and other healthcare professionals

• Participate in resident care conferences and other facility meetings as assigned

• Follow facility policies and procedures, and participate in ongoing education and training

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• 1 year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred

• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

• Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
