About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: 1 year of adult experience and some pediatric experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT Must-Have: Epic charting system experience required Description: 1 year of adult experience is required, with some pediatric experience preferred. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT certifications are required. Travelers are expected to float within the site and across the system. Mandatory call is voluntary. Refusal to float as requested will result in a cancellation of the contract. Travelers are required to complete any education assigned within one week of assignment. Mandatory cancellations must be made 1.5 hours before the start of a shift. Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per pay period without cause or penalty. Maximum of 7 days of time off is permitted, with no time off during the first two weeks of the assignment. All time off requests must be included at the time of submission. No felony convictions are accepted, and any background hits must include an explanation statement. Required references must be from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager, preferably within the last year. All compliance documents must be completed and submitted prior to the start date. Travelers are required to complete an Epic Test-Out Module. If not passed, an eight-hour Epic training course will be assigned at no cost.
