Weekend Caregiver

Becoming a caregiver is a unique career with many rewards. It is a labor of love that will enable you to build fulfilling and lasting relationships with your senior clients. Most important however, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of your clients and their families. We would like to invite you to share your exceptional talents and skills to help seniors stay independent and live the lifestyle they desire with Home Instead. Previous caregiving experience is not required. We do require you to have a soft heart, compassion and the highest level of dependability.


Some requirements:
You must be 19 years of age
Pass a background checks, including a drug screen and an MVR check
Possess a valid driver's license, have a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
Give at least 3 verifiable references
Flexible

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer's Care
• Activities of daily living assistance including personal care
