Data Analyst - OA

Data AnalystOA Private Capital ("OAPC" or "the Firm") manages investments in private equity funds, co-investments in private equity investment opportunities and other traditional and alternative asset classes. The Firm continues to experience growth, creating a fast-paced and dynamic work environment for its employees. The Firm is an affiliate of RDV Corporation, the family office serving the DeVos family. The Data Analyst will support OAPC's operations activities, including investment reporting document management, portfolio monitoring, portfolio valuation, internal reporting activities, and continuous improvement of processes. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset, strong technical skills, and superior attention to detail. As an OAPC team member, the successful candidate will grow professionally and create value for the Firm by:performing daily portfolio monitoring and document management activitiesdeveloping and maintaining internal reports and dashboardscollaborating and communicating effectively with team members in a professional and fast-paced work environmentbeing an active participant in, and contributor to, the continuous improvement of OAPC's operationsKEY RESPONSIBILITIESLeverage existing technology platforms to ensure that all investment reporting documents are procured, filed, and distributed appropriately.Collaborate with OAPC investment team to complete timely and accurate collection and entry of investment-related data to support ongoing portfolio monitoring and semi-annual portfolio valuations.Monitor actual cash activity against the cash flow forecast and raise areas that may require re-forecasting to the attention of the Director of Operations.Assist in valuation activities, including monitoring the valuation process and supporting valuations reporting activities.Effectively follow current processes and best practices; work cross-functionally within OAPC to identify opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology to efficiently scale operations.Provide data quality assurance and support OAPC's data governance programs.Attend regular internal meetings and educational sessions.Execute other projects as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSBachelor's degree, preferably in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a similar field.Demonstrates a professional demeanor and has the desire and ability to operate in a collaborative team environment.Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to think big picture and understand connected relationships in data.Exhibits analytical capability and a curious mind, with a strong desire/capacity to learn.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to initiate, prioritize, and follow through on projects, ability to work in a self-directed manner.Proficiency with Microsoft software, particularly Excel.Experience working with PowerBI desired.Adaptable to the use of new technologies.Ability to implement and maintain business processes and best practices.Discretion in handling sensitive, highly confidential information.
