Technologist

Baxter seeks a Technologist to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment at its Round Lake facility. The role includes shift leadership, process oversight, regulatory compliance, and team development in a regulated medical device production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing equipment using electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Lead shift operations including employee assignment, workload prioritization, and tier meetings
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and machinery setup prior to production runs
• Initiate and drive process improvement projects within the department
• Train and develop team members while ensuring cGMP compliance and accurate documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years manufacturing experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of cGMP manufacturing and production processes
• Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills to manage shift teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Not allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin drugs

Compensation: $49,600 - $68,200 base annually
