Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Pay Rate: $46/hr - $51/hr

Summary:
  • Duration: 24-week assignment
  • Work Mode: Onsite
  • AM - 8hrs, 40 hours, Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p
  • No weekends, no major holidays
Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in the Inpatient Rehab department.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists (PT) and other healthcare team members.
  • Manage a patient list of 8-15 patients and aim to see between 6-7 patients per shift.
  • Deliver therapy to patients with a range of diagnoses, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical conditions.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital environment.
  • MA OT licensure.
  • CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider).
  • Familiarity with the acute care hospital setting.
  • Excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
Preferred Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in an acute care hospital environment.
  • Experience in ICU settings and working with diverse patient populations.
  • Proficiency with EPIC documentation.
  • Self-directed, flexible, and able to multitask.
