Aiken Regional Medical Center, which opened in 1917, is a 273-bed acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of specialties and services. The COO provides day to day operations of the hospital, implements the strategy of the CEO and Corporation, and manages hospital departments efficiently and effectively to maximize quality of services and profits of the hospital.

Qualifications include five years of hospital experience with a minimum of two to three years as a senior level manager, a bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred in business, health administration or other closely related field, the ability to manage multiple diverse departments, detail orientation, ability to motivate, inspire, and communicate with individuals and groups, and knowledge of the financial implications of decisions including budgeting and forecasting.
