MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome all customers and set expectations with them. Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses. Act as a leader in optical acumen. Take and record measurements; accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail; ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs. Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions. Use technology accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and appropriate tool use. Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, ensure customer satisfaction, and exceed expectations with solution‑driven approaches. Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities. Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies. Take pride in store appearance and maintain a clean, attractive, and organized environment. Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices. Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and committed to continual learning, improvement, and results. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduate or equivalent. State licensure. Optical dispensing experience. Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder. Knowledge of current store merchandise. Strong basic math skills. Awareness of current fashion trends. Ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet for selling. Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators. Embrace new technology and change.
