Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift (Onsite-4:30pm-3:00am)Clampco Products, Inc, an employee-owned manufacturer of heavy-duty, stainless-steel clamps and couplings has a new opening for an experienced maintenance technician due to an upcoming retirement.The position is responsible for:Perform maintenance activities supporting production operationsEnsure all equipment in use is operating safely and efficiently through coordination and clear communication with maintenance crew on opposite shiftCoordinate with production on downtime repair estimatesPerforms electrical installation/repair on outlets, lights, fans, and other building fixtures; run conduit, cabling and wires for electrical hook-up for machineryDiagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust machinery and equipmentPerform repairs to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, single and three phase controls, PLCs mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production machinesWork with test equipment and electrical troubleshooting up to 480vRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, to perform required mechanical adjustments and repairsWork with the engineering group on installation and debugging new automated machineryDemonstrate safe working behaviors including lock/tag out procedures, use of PPE, and safe operation of high-lift and other mobile equipment operationAdditional daily maintenance functions were neededRequirements of the Position / Experience:Associate degree or apprenticeship in maintenance technology or similar referredHigh School or G.E.D. / Additional trade or certifications will be considered3+ years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing in necessary3+ years working in a metal stamping/forging/forming environment highly desiredExperience with electrical, theory, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and motor controlsAbility to install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment using schematic diagrams and manuals as guideAbility to work in a team for best results through problem-solving and effective communicationMust be able to meet the physical demands of the positionMust be able to work Monday -Thursday, 10-hour shift to support production operationsSuccess factors (Competencies):Teamwork-respectful, trust and sense of group identityCritical thinking-Use of information for best solutionDependability-Focus, punctual and presentJob Knowledge-Stays current, asks questions and shares know-howProblem solving-Understands contributing factors to resolve complex situationsSafety conscious- Practices safe work habitsAct Like an Owner under the ESOP philosophy is a mustWork Environment:Monday -Thursday, 4:30p-3:00a, onsiteAbility to walk, navigate stairs, ladders, use PPE and follow all safety standardsLift up to 50# with or without accommodation, physical demand is heavyMay assist other departments when needed in a manufacturing settingWe Offer:$25-$31/hourly base rate + $1.00/ hour shift differential and bonus potential to commensurate with experienceGenerous benefit package: Vacation/ holidays/ 401(k)/medical/dental /vision/HSA/Wellness benefit and much more!Technical training and development opportunitiesYour voice in making a difference through continuous improvement and project teamsClampco is an equal employment opportunity / affirmative action employer.
