Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Site Supervisor specializing in Janitorial services to lead and oversee 1st and 2nd shift cleaning operations in a prominent facility. This energetic leader will ensure that all sites maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance, fostering a clean and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial cleaning, custodial management, and facilities maintenance, with a passion for motivating teams to deliver exceptional service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on the cleanliness and operational efficiency of diverse facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise janitorial teams to ensure consistent delivery of cleaning and maintenance services.
• Oversee daily operations including floor care, buffing, industrial cleaning, and custodial tasks to maintain pristine environments.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to address specific cleaning needs such as residential painting touch-ups or specialized industrial cleaning projects.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
• Promote a positive team culture focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience within commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong background in cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, industrial cleaning, and facilities maintenance.
• Experience managing teams of porters or custodians in fast-paced environments.
• Some Weekend work required.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace hazards.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and vendors.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational demands.
