Fire Inspector

We are currently seeking a qualified Fire Inspector to perform inspections for commercial, residential, and public facilities to ensure compliance with fire codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Schedule and conduct on-site inspections for new construction, renovations, and existing buildings to ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire codes.
2. Evaluate fire protection systems, alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and means of egress.
3. Identify potential fire hazards and recommend corrective actions.
4. Complete inspection reports and required documentation in accordance with NFPA, local codes, and company guidelines.
5. Collaborate with property owners, contractors, and municipal authorities to resolve fire code violations.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to travel for inspections.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• ICC Fire Inspector Certification or equivalent fire safety credentials required

Compensation and Benefits:

• $35 – $50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Both full-time and part-time employees are eligible for Aoka's 401(k) plan with a 5% company match after 90 days of employment
