Data Science Program Lead I - Neurology

AbbVie seeks a Data Science Program Lead I to oversee clinical trial operations and strategy within neurology. The role involves leading cross-functional study teams, managing operational analytics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring data science staff.

Responsibilities

Lead assigned CDSO study teams and serve as operational lead representing data science
Act as single point of contact coordinating global functional teams to meet study objectives
Utilize operational analytics and project management tools to track progress and identify risks
Coach and mentor Data Science Associates, including indirect supervision of contract resources
Ensure adherence to federal regulations, GCP, ICH Guidelines, and AbbVie SOPs

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, computer science, or life sciences
3+ years pharma, clinical research, data management, or healthcare experience
5+ years project management experience as alternative qualification path
Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical technology
Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence without direct authority
Effective analytical and communication skills
PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired
