The role begins as soon as possible and continues through May 25, 2027, with a schedule of one onsite day per week (7.5 hours).
What you’ll bring:
- Valid Physical Therapy licensure and credentials appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience or strong interest in serving middle and high school students
- Understanding of IEPs and individualized student support a plus
- Comfort collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and sharing expertise
Role responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate PT services to students, supporting their functional growth
- Conduct evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to school settings
- Document services in accordance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings as needed
- Engage in collaboration and consultation with educators and families
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality
- Attend regular one-on-one check-ins, team meetings, and monthly roundtables
- Access equipment, testing materials, and ample resources for effective service delivery
