Details 28-bed cardiac telemetry stepdown/intermediate care unit caring for all cardiac needs Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-6 Unit supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00 13-week assignment Up to 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule period Holiday coverage based on department needs Requirements Active RN license (Compact or OK) currently in hand Current AHA BLS certification Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address Additional Information Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols Implement and monitor patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient condition Coordinate care across disciplines and carry out physician and nursing orders Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team Requires critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Follow Standard Precautions using appropriate personal protective equipment Local candidates accepted, subject to a facility-specific radius rule that may affect pay rate Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before the assignment end date American Traveler Job ID P-746838.
