Return-to-Work Specialist

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Return-to-Work Specialist will manage the return-to-work efforts for claimants by negotiating with clients, treatment providers, and employers while determining appropriate work restrictions and facilitating job placements. Key responsibilities Determine objective, medically supported work restrictions for assigned claims Facilitate return-to-work efforts through negotiation and documentation, assisting case management staff with client competence decisions Contact employers to gather information regarding job requirements and assist in job site modifications as needed Required qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) designation preferred Experience in medical/clinical or rehabilitation settings Knowledge of medical, legal, and accreditation standards related to return-to-work processes Ability to document and report findings in compliance with organizational standards
