Program Specialist
Major Duties: Analytic Duties and Responsibilities - Collect, process, analyze and report data related to workflow efficiency, effectiveness and safety including but not limited to workload, telehealth access, outcomes and Veteran satisfaction. Collect, process, trend and report data related to VISN 1 Telehealth organizational performance utilizing the STEEEP (safe, timely, efficient, effective, equitable and patient centered) framework and assisting with quarterly quality assessments and ongoing performance improvement efforts. Collect and analyze telehealth and access data in collaboration with the GPM, clinical service lines and other entities to assist in possible program expansion efforts. Create, update, manage clinically relevant and resource databases as needed to support Telehealth operations. Collect, analyze and report data from any other clinically relevant or resource databases as needed to support Telehealth operations. Prepare reports for Telehealth local and national leadership, the VISN 1 Telehealth Governance Subcommittee, and other entities as needed. Coordinate national, VISN and local data collection for the telehealth service line. Evaluate potential financial and/or workflow impacts of proposed policies/programs and provide recommendations to decrease a less than optimal impact or outcome.
Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm. Compressed/Flexible: Not available. Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
