Position Description: About the Job:Wellspring Preparatory Academy is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Two's Teacher. This role is responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our childcare center's Two's classroom.The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and early childhood education, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent. Infant CPR and First-Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification through training) are also required. A full background check and fingerprinting are also necessary for this position.In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Whole Child Curriculum and providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children in your care. This will include engaging with the children in a positive and calm manner, providing meals and attending to their daily needs, and monitoring their development and reporting any concerns. You will also be responsible for evaluating their developmental growth and differentiating lessons to meet their individual needs. In addition to your educational and childcare responsibilities, you will also be expected to assist with management tasks such as interacting with parents, ensuring that the school meets all requirements set by law, and participating in performance reviews. You will also be responsible for maintaining licensing standards and following all policies and procedures set forth by Wellspring Preparatory Academy.To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. You should also be able to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment and have a professional mindset and the ability to use good judgment when caring for children.
