Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert, compassionate, and individualized nursing care for patients and families in the operating room setting
• Oversee daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety, and satisfaction
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures while consistently adhering to patient safety guidelines
• Deliver patient education to facilitate plan of care and promote optimal wellness
• Collaborate with providers, staff, and other members of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate competent healthcare assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills while maintaining HIPAA compliance

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Ability to delegate care appropriately and in accordance with Colorado state statute
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an operating room or surgical setting as a circulating nurse
• Familiarity with Relationship-Based Care principles and Just Culture organizational values
