Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Adaptive Workforce Solutions Program - University of Rochester and no current placement allowed at Program: Adaptive Workforce Solutions Program - University of Rochester.

Additional Details:

Parking is not provided - this will be an out-of-pocket expense. Parking Pass - 1 Day - $6.00 (parking garage), By the month - $37.00, Per 13-week contract - $111.00. Credit card payments only.

Required Skills/Experience: Recent OR experience at a Level 1 trauma center required. Experience using c-arm/o-arm in the past 8 months

Required Credentials: Completion of formal training in an approved school of radiologic technology.

Special Requests: Travel pairs requiring the same schedule are not accepted. No special requests.

Unit Details: Verifies patient identity and physician orders before x-ray procedures; explains procedures to patients and answers questions. Uses x-ray equipment to obtain radiographic images of bones, tissues, and organs per physician orders; positions patients, including lifting and moving patients with limited mobility. Handles radiologic equipment safely and keeps dose to the patient as low as possible. Observes each patient’s status and uses age-specific information to meet patient needs. Produces diagnostic, high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. Promptly notifies management of damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment. Uses electronic patient information systems to verify patient name, date, appropriate exam, and special exam-specific comments; follows the dual patient identifier procedure. Maintains accurate patient recordkeeping by properly identifying images and ensuring images are sent to PACS correctly. Recent experience using c-arm/o-arm in the past 8 months required.

Shift & Scheduling: All assignments are D/E/N rotating shift schedules, every other weekend, holidays/on-call/callback/charge per unit. No straight day shifts. Mon-Fri. On-call, callback, and holidays per unit needs. On-call: 2-3 call shifts per month. Must be able to report within 30 minutes for on-call shifts.

7 days maximum time off
