ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bridgeport, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 16 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical/Oncology Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekends as scheduled. Job Description We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join a 36-bed Medical-Surgical/Oncology unit. The nurses will provide care for a diverse patient population including general MedSurg and post-operative patients, as well as oncology patients with complications. Experience with telemetry monitoring and chemotherapy administration is a plus. Responsibilities Administer medications and oversee patient care on the medical-surgical and oncology unit. Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, ensuring prompt response to patient needs. Manage patient care for post-operative cases, including laparoscopy and oncology-related complications. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including charge nurses and respiratory therapists. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN licensure in your state of practice. BLS certification is required; ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification is a plus. Experience with titrating heparin drips and managing patients on telemetry.
