We have an available medical assistant position for a local clinic in the Baton Rouge area. This position REQUIRES A MEDICAL ASSISTANT CERTIFICATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO APPLYING! Our client is looking for someone ready to work hard and join a fast-paced and dedicated team with a long-term need. Pay for this full-time position will be in the range of $16-$18 depending on previous medical assistant experience.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in a clinic setting
• Take patient histories and vitals
• Triage calls
• Manage surgery schedule for the physician
• Interact with patients and coworkers with a friendly and professional attitude

Requirements:

• ONLY CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANTS NEED APPLY!!
• 1+ year of Medical Assisting experience NECESSARY
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
